Canvas: Adding a Teaching Assistant (TA) to a course

1. Select People from the course menu.

Click people on course menu

2. From the people page, click the +People button.

+ people button is on the right side of the screen


3. Select Login ID and enter the NetID of the user in the field. Multiple users can be entered at one time if sepearated by a comma.  From the Role pull-down menu select TA. Finally click the Next button.

Add People box. Select login ID. Select TA as role. Select Next.

 

4. The Add People page will appear. Confirms that the users need to be added and click the Add Users button.

 

 

5. The users will be added and receive an email invitation to enter the course.

User shows pending on people list.
