Service Overview
ITS reviews all hardware, software, and technical systems over $5,000 prior to their purchase to ensure they comply with the technical and cybersecurity standards of Mississippi State University. All departments on campus are required to submit a pre-procurement IT review request for any technology purchase on campus to ITS prior to purchase. Once approved, a copy of the approval documentation must be attached to the procurement request submitted to MSU Department of Procurement and Contracts.
