Academic courses that use Canvas remain available for approximately eighteen months from the last day of the term. Once a course is removed from Canvas it is permanently unavailable to both the faculty and students. The removal process for Canvas courses will begin on December 15, 2021. Fall 2018, spring 2019, summer 2019, and fall 2019 academic courses will be removed. Please note the removal process is ONLY for Academic courses, development and external courses will not be removed.
Prior to each course removal date, ITS will communicate with faculty via campus email and Canvas announcements.

- Backup/Export your course
- Download/Export grades from Canvas to your Computer
- Download all student submissions from Canvas to your Computer
- Remind students to backup course materials and assignments
