How do I use the Knowledge Base to find answers and solutions?

The Knowledge Base is a great resource for finding answers to common questions, self-help guides and instructions for common tasks, and frequently requested information. 

Using the Knowledge Base:

1. Navigate to the ITS Service Desk site by going to in your web browser, then access the Knowledge Base by clicking on the Find an Answer button or the Knowledge Base link at the top.  


2. On this page, you will see a list of categories which you can browse to view the Knowledge Base articles. Each category is named according to the type of articles it contains. A short description is also listed which gives a little bit of detail as to what is in each category.  Some categories have subcategories with more articles.



3. Browse to a particular article, then click on it to see its contents. 


If you can't figure out where an article is located, try using the Search option.
