MSU now has in place a Microsoft Enrollment for Education Solutions (EES) agreement. This agreement provides a number of Microsoft software products to MSU departments at no cost. Click here and review the Microsoft Enrollment for Education Solutions.

SPSS for Administrative and other Non-Academic Use
IBM SPSS Statistics is a set of statistical analysis tools. Departments wanting to use SPSS for University functions must purchase annually an administrative license for each system.
Administrative: Software used for purposes directly related to customer's operations as a post-secondary degree granting institution. This includes institutional research and any such use related to reporting about the University to the University. Such software may be used by customer's administrative employees (including faculty performing administrative duties) for such administrative purposes.

SAS for Administrative and other Non-Academic Use
SAS is a statistical package with analytical solutions ranging from simple statistics to advanced data mining solutions. Departments wanting to use SAS for administrative functions must purchase annually an administrative license for each system.
