Only active faculty and staff at Mississippi State University are permitted to obtain this software. Faculty and staff are required to remove the software when no longer affiliated with the Mississippi State University.
From the ITS Software Download page, you can request a download of Maple 2023 or you can request to pick up the media at the ITS Service Desk in 108 Allen Hall.

Important: AdminByRequest
To install this program, you will need Administrator access. If you do not have AdminByRequest, you will have to ask your ITS Desktop Services Specialist to install SPSS for you. However, if you have the permission of AdminByRequest, you can follow these instructions and then install SPSS.
Maple 2023 may be downloaded from the ITS Software Download page or you can request to pick up the media at the ITS Service Desk in 108 Allen Hall.
After requesting a copy of Maple for download or for media pickup, you will see the following information. Please make a note of this code as you will need it during the installation of Maple to license the software.
Installation Instructions
- To install Maple 2023, double-click the Maple2023.0MacInstaller.dmg. Type in your macOS password to allow the app to make changes to your device. Choose your language and click Next. Choose your language (English is the default) and click Next.
- In the Setup window, click Next.
- In the license agreement window, select the option next to I accept the agreement and click Next.
- Click Next.
- If you have MatLab installed, you can link the two together at this time or leave as is. You will have to point the location of your MATLAB application. Click Next to proceed.
- Choose Network License. Click Next.
- Choose the option for Single Server. Click Next.
- In the License Server window, enter the License server and port number. This information was displayed when the software was requested and is located on the flash drive if you chose media pickup.
- In the Check for Updates window, check the boxes next to Enable periodic checking for Maple 2023 updates after installation and Check for updates now. Click Next, then click OK after the update check is complete.
- In the Pre-Installation Summary window, click Next.
- You should now see Maple 2023 installing. When complete, click Next.
- In the Completing the Maple Setup Wizard window, click Finish.
- Maple 2023 will now be available under the Maple 2023 folder in your Applications.
