Reasons why you could be having issues with InfoSec IQ

Reasons why you could be having issues with InfoSec IQ

  1. Wrong Microsoft Office 365 account:  You are more than likely logged in on your K-12 school's computer with your K-12 school’s account instead of the MSU account. You can attempt to completely log out of your school's account (close ALL instances of browsers) and see if it will allow you to connect to: https://m365.msstate.edu with your NetID@msstate.edu and your NetPassword. But it more than likely will not work due to the secure network.

    1. You are on a Secure network: Also, due to security settings of your K-12 schools’ network, you can more likely not access our InfoSec IQ Training site on your schools’ computers. You will have to use a computer outside of the network such as your mobile device or personal laptop that is either attached to your home WiFi or using your cellular data. Try visiting this web address on your mobile device:
      https://myapps.microsoft.com/signin/64f08e43-7e54-4389-b139-4e4478b9e469?tenantId=ed51dbb0-af86-45a2-9c97-73fb3935df17
If you can access it, you can go ahead and take the training on your mobile device.

  2. If you have wireless access at home, make sure that you are logged out of not only your work Microsoft Office account on your Internet browser, but any personal Microsoft accounts that you might be logged into. Then log in to https://m365.msstate.edu with your NetID@msstate.edu and your NetPassword.

  3. There is a chance that you were not added to the training. When you open a ticket with us we will check the database and make sure that you do have access. If you do not, we will pass your service request (ticket) to ITS Security Systems.
