Canvas will send notifications of activity in a course. Students can edit their Canvas notification settings. Notifications are sent as one of four delivery types:
- Notify me right away
- Daily summary
- Weekly summary
- Don't send
If you change a setting, the change is made immediately to your account To ensure that you are not missing course information, you should verify your notification settings. It is recommended that all students turn on notifications for the following:
- Due Date
- Announcement
- Submission Comment
- Discussion
- Conversations Messages
To edit your settings, click on the Account Icon from the maroon global navigation menu on the right. Then click Settings.
