Canvas: How to log in

Two ways to log in to Canvas:

1. Log in through myState

• Visit my.msstate.edu
• You will be prompted to enter in your NetID/NetPassword and authenticate via DUO if you have two-factor authentication enabled for your account (highly recommended)
  (Note: Duo is required for all currently enrolled students, faculty, and staff.)
• In the portal, click the Menu icon in the top left (3 horizontal bars), click on Classroom, then click on the Access Canvas link

2. Log in by going directly to the Canvas URL

• Visit canvas.msstate.edu
• You will be prompted to enter in your NetID/NetPassword and authenticate via DUO if you have two-factor authentication enabled for your account (highly recommended)
  (Note: Duo is required for all currently enrolled students, faculty, and staff.)
