How to update personal information in the online directory

Faculty and Staff can update their email address and phone number for the directory via myBanner.

 

Steps to update your email address and phone number for the directory via myState.

  1. Log in to my.msstate.edu.
  2. Under Apps & Services, click Banner.
  3. Click Personal Information.
  4. Click Update your Directory & Address Information. 
  5. Click the Edit link in the upper right hand corner of the Directory Information.
  6. Make the updates, then click Save.

Steps to update your email address and phone number for the directory via myBanner.

  1. Go to mybanner.msstate.edu then log in by clicking the Login to myBanner button.
  2. Click on Personal Information.
  3. Click Update your Directory & Address Information.
  4. Click the Edit link in the upper right hand corner of the Directory Information.
  5. Make the updates, then click Save.

 


NOTE: To request a change to a Campus Mail Stop or Office Location in the directory, a request must be put in to the person responsible for keying Payroll in that Faculty or Staff member's department. They will then contact HRM to make the change.

Request that another user be granted access to modify the departmental online directory. This request must come from a current, authorized individual on behalf of the user that needs the access.
