Qualtrics is a powerful online survey tool that allows students, staff and faculty to create surveys, polls, and collect feedback using a wide variety of features and question types. All results can be viewed in easy report formats, and it provides data downloads that are ready for statistics packages.
Qualtrics is an MSU Office of Research provided resource and subject to all appropriate MSU operating policies and procedures. Consider legal, regulatory, and University policy requirements when collecting data in areas such as:
- FERPA restrictions
- HIPAA restrictions
- Human Subject restrictions
The Institutional Review Board for the Protection of Human Subjects in Research (IRB) reviews all research activities which involve human subjects for compliance with federal regulations and ethical standards. All human research conducted at, by, or under the auspices of this institution, whether funded or not, and whether conducted by the administrators, faculty, staff, or students, must be reviewed and approved before the research begins. https://www.orc.msstate.edu/human-subjects
