As part of the MSU Microsoft EES agreement, current MSU students can download one copy of Windows 10 or 11 Education to use as long as they are currently enrolled. While ITS provides instructions for accessing the download for Windows 10 or 11 Education, students will need to reach out to OnTheHub support for any further assistance.
When your access to an order expires (typically 31 days after the order is placed), you lose the ability to download software from that order or view any product keys that were issued with it through your WebStore.
You can temporarily restore your access to the previously ordered software by purchasing Access Guarantee Retrieval (AGR). Available for a small fee, this service will let you download software and view product keys from the order for an additional 60 days.
Downloading Windows 10/11 Education via OnTheHub
1. Go to msstate.onthehub.com.
2. If you have already created an account, click Sign in using netid@msstate.edu and your OnTheHub password, then proceed to step 7. Otherwise, click Register to create a new account.
3. Enter your netid@msstate.edu email address for account verification, then click Continue.
4. Complete the form with your Name and netid@msstate.edu email address. When setting the password, we strongly recommend to create a password that is different than your NetPassword. Select Student for the Group of which you are a member list. When done, click the box for I'm not a robot.
5. When the reCAPTCHA shows a green check mark, click Register.
6. Once you click Register, you will be taken to a screen instructing you on how to verify your account. Go to your email and click the verification link.
7. Once verified, click Students to see available software.
(If the verification link doesn't take you back to the web store, please go to msstate.onthehub.com, click Sign in, then enter your netid@msstate.edu and your OnTheHub password.)
8. Click Windows 10 or Windows 11.
9. Click Add to Cart and proceed to the shopping cart to complete your transaction and download.

To order Access Guarantee Retrieval:
- Sign in to the WebStore where you placed your order.
- Click Hello (top-right corner of the page), then click Your Account/Orders in the menu that opens. You are shown a list of your previous orders.
- Click the View Details button below the order to which you want to restore access.
- Click the Buy Now button next to Access Guarantee Retrieval (under the heading: “Recommended for You”).
