BANNERLINK is a distribution list which allows a specific group of MSU moderators to email important announcements, notices, reminders, and updates to subscribers. This group includes, but is not limited to, Travel, Human Resources Management, Controller and Treasurer, Payroll, Procurement, and ITS. BANNERLINK emails are meant to inform users about various university topics, not just Banner related information. Employees are not automatically added to the list and do not require a Banner account to be on the list.
BANNERLINK emails are sent to ALL subscribers on the list and are not distributed based on the topic. For example, when the payroll key date email reminder is sent to the list, it is not only sent to users who process payroll, but to ALL subscribers. Therefore, if you do not process payroll, you should disregard that email.
Subscribe to BANNERLINK
Employees who wish to be added to the BANNERLINK listserv subscriber list should submit a ticket to the Service Desk and request their MSU email address, NETID@msstate.edu, is added to the list. When the ticket is processed successfully, the system will send the subscriber a welcome email. NOTE: Do not send an email to the listserv email to be added to the list.

Unsubscribe from BANNERLINK
Employees who wish to be removed from the BANNERLINK listserv subscriber list should submit a ticket to the Service Desk and request their MSU email address, NETID@msstate.edu, is deleted from the list. When the ticket is processed successfully, the system will send the subscriber a removal email. NOTE: You cannot be removed from the list to stop receiving payroll notices because you do not process payroll but you would like to continue receiving all other notices. If you are removed from BANNERLINK, you will no longer receive ANY emails from BANNERLINK.
