Pop-ups must be enabled in your web browser in order for certain Banner links, such as the Parking Portal link, to function correctly.
Google Chrome - (link to instructions)
- In Chrome, at the top right, click the menu button (3 dots), then click Settings.
- At the bottom, click Advanced.
- Under "Privacy and security," click Site settings.
- Click Pop-ups and redirects.
- Click the Add button beside Allowed to send pop-ups and use redirects.
- Type in msstate.edu and click the Add button.
Mozilla Firefox - (link to instructions, see the Pop-up blocker settings section)
- In Firefox, at the top right, click the menu button (3 lines) then click Options.
- Select the panel.
- Under the Permissions section, if you want to disable the pop-up blocker for every website, uncheck the box next to Block pop-up windows. To just enable for our site, click the Exceptions... button and type in msstate.edu. Click Allow and click Save Changes.
Microsoft Edge - (link to instructions, switch Block pop-ups to off instead of on)
- In Edge, in the top right, click the menu button (3 dots), then click Settings.
- Click Cookies and site permissions. (If your window is not maximized you might have to click the menu button (3 lines) on the left hand side of the page.)
- Scroll down the page to All permissions and click Pop-ups and redirects.
- Beside Allow, click the Add button. Type in msstate.edu and click Add.
Safari - Instructions for enabling pop-ups
- In Safari, in the top left, click Safari, then click Settings.
- Click on the Website tab and click on Pop-up Windows in the left hand side of the Settings window.
- You should see msstate.edu as a currently open website. Click the Allow option immediately to the right. You can also change the setting to Allow enabling pop-ups "When visiting other websites" by choosing Allow.
