Note:
The OneDrive App comes preinstalled with Windows 10.
If you need to reinstall the app, you can follow the directions below.
The OneDrive app can be downloaded from
https://o365.msstate.edu
. You will login with your
netid
@msstate.edu
and
NetPassword
. Instructions for Microsoft Office 365 login can be found
here
.
Click on
OneDrive
.
To download the
OneDrive
app, click on
Get the OneDrive Apps
located in the bottom left corner.
Select
Click here to download.
After the download is complete, run the downloaded file named
OneDriveSetup.exe
.
The installer will display.
Enter your
netid
@msstate.edu
email address and click
Sign in
.
Click
Work or school
.
Click
Next
.
Accept the defaults for syncing files from your OneDrive. Click
Next
.
Confirm the amount of free space on local drive is sufficient for the OneDrive file selection.
ITS recommends using the
OneDrive for Business web interface
on computers used by multiple users.
The
Welcome to OneDrive
screen will provide you with useful information. Select the forwarding arrow > .
If you are ready to open OneDrive you can click the
Open my OneDrive folder
button.
OneDrive will also be active in the taskbar. If you click on the OneDrive cloud a menu will display.
