myState is the University’s student, faculty and staff web portal. Use your NetID and NetPassword to log onto your private, personal portal to experience myState at MSU.

How do I log in to myState?

1. Go to msstate.edu, then click myState in the top right. Alternatively, go directly to my.msstate.edu.

2. Enter your NetID and NetPassword, then click Login.

3. Authenticate with Duo, if prompted.

4. You should now be logged in to myState.

How do I access my email in myState?

• Under Apps & Services, select Microsoft 365.

How do I access myBanner in myState?

• Under Apps & Services, select Banner.

How do I access Canvas in myState?

• Under Apps & Services, select Canvas. Alternatively, scroll down to the Classroom section and access specific courses from the links provided.
