OneDrive App for macOS

1. The OneDrive app can be downloaded from https://o365.msstate.edu. You will login with your netid@msstate.edu and NetPassword. Instructions for Microsoft Office 365 login can be found here.

2. Click on OneDrive.


 

3. To download the OneDrive app, click on Get the OneDrive Apps located in the bottom left corner.


 

4.  Click on Download.

5. After the download is completed, double click on the downloaded file named OneDrive.pkg.  The installer will display. Click Continue.

6. Click Install.

 

7.  Enter your Mac User Name and Password. Click Install Software.

 
 

 

8. Click Close. You have successfully installed the OneDrive app.

 

9. In a Finder window click on Applications. Click on OneDrive.

 
 
10.  Click Next.
 
11. Accept the defaults for syncing files from your OneDrive. Click Next.
 
 
 
12.  Your OneDrive is now setup. If you would like to open your OneDrive now, click on Open my OneDrive.
 
 
12(a). Your OneDrive can also be opened by launching a Finder window, click on Applications then double click on OneDrive.
 
12(b). OneDrive is also located in the task bar.   After clicking on the OneDrive cloud icon you can choose to open a file displayed in the recent files list, open the folder on your desktop, or view your documents online.
