Maple 2018 Installation (Windows)

Maple 2018 may be downloaded from the ITS Software Download page located at its.msstate. edu/software/downloads/ or pick up the media the ITS Help Desk in 108 Allen Hall. (To print this document, please see the attached PDF.)

1. To install Maple 2018, double-click the Maple 2018 installer. In the Setup window, click Next.

2. In the License Agreement select the button next to I accept the agreement and click Next.

3. In the Installation Directory click Next.

4. In the Install Desktop Shortcut windows choose Yes or No next to Do you wish to have a shortcut installed on your desktop? and then click Next.

5. On Choose the Type of Licensing window choose Network License and click Next.

6. In the Single or Redundant Server window choose the radio button next to Single Server. Click Next.

7. In the License Server window, enter the License server and port number (port number should default to 27000) from the Microsoft Word file located on the flash drive or in the document located with the software download. Click Next.

8. In the Check for Updates window, check the boxes next to Enable periodic checking for Maple 2018 updates after installation and Check for updates now. Click Next.

9. In the Info window, click OK.

10. In the Pre-Installation Summary window click Next.

11. You should now see Maple 2018 installing.

12. In the Completing the Maple Setup Wizard window, click Finish.
