Customers and Departmental Billing Managers

Individual users are defined in PINNACLE as either Customers or Departmental Business Managers to enable them to log in to PINNACLE and retrieve Billing Statements. Users who only need to retrieve Billing Statements for a single Subscriber are defined as Customers, and users who need to retrieve Billing Statements for more than one Subscriber are defined as Departmental Business Managers. Departmental Business Managers are given access to all departments they need, where a Department is usually defined as a Banner Org. Departmental Business Managers are able to retrieve Billing Statements for all Subscribers associated with the Departments to which they are given access.

 

Steps to retrieve a Billing Statement from PINNACLE

1. Visit http://www.its.msstate.edu/, scroll down to the Quick Links section at the bottom right of the page, then click Departmental Billing Statements. Alternatively, go directly to https://calero.its.msstate.edu/.


2. At the PINNACLE login screen, enter your NetID for the Username, enter your NetPassword for the Password, then click the blue Sign In button.

3. The first page presented for both Customers and Departmental Business Managers is identical. From this page, click the menu in the upper left labeled My Account, then select Statements from the menu that drops down.

 

 

4. Once you select the Statements menu option, the view changes based on if you are defined in PINNACLE as a Customer (as denoted in the upper-left of the resulting web page) or as a Departmental Business Manager. Refer to the appropriate section below based on your role.


Customers

For customers a list of Billing Statements available is shown, and you may view/print/save any available Billing Statement by clicking the hyperlink for the desired Billing Date. Clicking one of the Billing Date hyperlinks presents the page shown below, which is a summary of the charges for that particular billing period.  Clicking the blue View Bill button at the top of that page will pop-up another window showing the PDF for that Billing Statement (make sure your web browser allows pop-ups from PINNACLE).  From the window that pops up, you can print the PDF statement and/or save it to your local computer.

Departmental Business Managers

For Departmental Business Managers, a list of Billing Dates is shown for each Department Number assigned to you. Each line shown indicates that there are Billing Statements for Subscribers in that department for that date and summarizes the total charges for that particular billing date and department. Clicking the hyperlink for a given Billing Date displays a page showing a bit more detail about the Billing Statements available for that Department and Date (see below).

From this page, hover over the Statements link in the upper left to make a sub-menu appear, then click Individual Bills on this sub-menu to display a search page listing the individual Billing Statements available for this Department and Date.

Clicking the hyperlink for Subscriber ID on one of the rows in the list will display a page like below with more details about that particular Billing Statement. 

 

Clicking the blue View Report button at the top of that page will pop-up another window showing the PDF for that Billing Statement (make sure your web browser allows pop-ups from PINNACLE).  From the window that pops up, you can print the PDF statement and/or save it to your local computer. Clicking the link Individual Bills at the top of the page shown below will take you back to the list of Individual Billing Statements.
