How to remove the msu1x wireless network from your devices

The msu1x wireless network is being decommissioned and has been replaced by eduroam. Please remove the msu1x network from your devices and connect to the eduroam network instead using your netid@msstate.edu email address and NetPassword.

Removing msu1x

Windows 10

1. Open the Start menu, then click the Settings icon (gear).

2. Click Network & Internet.

3. Click Wi-Fi, then click Manage known networks.

4. Click msu1x in the list, then click Forget.

macOS

1. Click the Apple logo in the top left, then click System Preferences...

2. Click Network.

3. Click Wi-Fi in the connections list on the left, then click the Advanced... button.

4. Click msu1x in the preferred networks list, then click the - icon (minus).

5. Click OK, then click Apply.

iOS

1. Open Settings.

2. Tap Wi-Fi.

3. Tap the blue i icon to the right of msu1x.

4. Tap Forget this Network, then tap Forget to confirm.

Android

1. Open Settings.

2. Tap Connections, then tap Wi-Fi.

3. Tap and hold msu1x, then tap Forget network.
